OPUS Artis Paris International Composition Award 2025
RULES
Article 1. The Opus Artis Paris International Composition Award is open to contestants from different countries and regions around the world.
The Opus Artis Paris International Composition Award offers an international prize in recognition of achievement by composer in a musical genre: choral, opera, orchestral, chamber, solo work.
The competition has one round, all the contestants should compete by submitting document for the competition. A panel of professional composers will evaluate all applications, selecting winners who holds the highest potential composers.
Article 2. Competition Group:
Group IV 16-18 years old
Group V 19-26 years old
Group VI over 26 years old
Article 3. Repertoire
The following are the requirements for the competition repertoire.
(1) Musical works including choral, opera, orchestral, chamber, solo work
(2) There are no restrictions with regard to compositional style
(3) The works must be created by oneself and enjoy originality and complete copyright
(4) Each participant is limited to submitting one work.
(5) The entries must have not been publicly performed or published
(6) The piece should be within 15 minutes in length.
Article 4. Registration Fee
Group IV 75 euros
Group V 85 euros
Group VI 95 euros
Article 5. Prize settings
The Opus Artis Paris International Composition Award prize settings as below:
The grand prize will be awarded to contestants with at least 90/100points;
The first prize will be awarded to contestants with at least 85/100 points;
The second prize will be awarded to contestants with at least 80/100 points;
The third prize will be awarded to contestants with at least 75/100 points;
The honorable mention will be awarded to contestants with at least 70/100 points.
*The jury has the right to decide on the final outcome of the competition.
*The jury has the right to decide to leave the ranking blank, and contestants shall not object.
*The jury will score the contestants and select the best contestants according to the evaluation criteria of the same group.

All the contestants will receive both prize certificate and comments after the competition.
Article 6. Document Requirements
(1) Provide a complete score, upload only the following file types: PDF. the score should not include the composer's name or any irrelevant markings
(2) The score must display the song name and indicate the duration of the song's performance
(3) Provide one electronic recording of the complete work, upload only the following file types: MP3.
(4) Contestants must ensure the originality of their works and the absence of copyright disputes. In case of any infringement, the contestants shall bear legal responsibility on their own.
Article 7. FAQ
Question : If I don't win an award, can I still apply for services such as copyright and MP3 diffusion?
Answer : If you have not won the grand prize or first prize, you can still apply for services like copyright and MP3 diffusion. However, all these services are subject to fees. Please consult us for specific costs.
Question : How should I pay the registration fee?
Answer : Please make a payment using PayPal to the account opusartisparis@gmail.com. Please include the competition name, your name, category, and group in the memo, and upload a screenshot of the payment page on our website (click on 'Application' to access).
Question : If I don't have PayPal account, how should I pay?
Answer : Please contact opusartisparis@gmail.com for more payment modes.
Application Deadline : March 10th, 2025
